Sacramento Business Brokers
Helping Owners Sell on Their Terms

Sacramento Business Brokers helps business owners in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, and Yolo counties, and across the greater Capital Region, sell the businesses they have spent years building. We focus on companies in the roughly $500,000 to $5 million range.

Selling a business is unfamiliar territory for most owners, and you usually only do it once. Our job is to guide you through it: a real opinion of value, confidential marketing, screened buyers, and steady representation from the first conversation through closing.

You built the business. The sale should reflect that. Dual agency is common in this industry, where one firm represents both the buyer and the seller in the same transaction. We do not work that way. We represent one party only, so when you hire us to sell, every obligation we have runs to you: your confidentiality, your leverage, and the outcome you walk away with.

Luke Middendorf, CBB

Certified Business Broker, Sacramento Business Brokers. DRE #02196801

I'm a Certified Business Broker. I help business owners understand what their business is worth, prepare it for sale, and sell it to the right buyer.

I've been in the business world for over 26 years. I started my own business in 2012 and sold it in 2021. Going through my own exit taught me more than how to close a deal. I saw how my employees, suppliers, and partners reacted to the news, what it takes to transition a business to a new owner, and how buyers actually evaluate what they're buying. That experience shapes how I represent sellers today.

I've prepared more than 100 broker's opinions of value for businesses across Greater Sacramento, in industries ranging from HVAC and manufacturing to construction, transportation, fitness, and professional services. My recent transaction work includes direct dental laboratory experience, with one lab sold, one in escrow, and one active listing, alongside other Main Street and lower middle market transactions.

I am a member in good standing of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA).
